Heather Lynne

Many folks in midwest Georgia already know the familiar soothing, warm tones of her voice as well as the quick wit of Heather Lynn. She has been hosting radio shifts on WMGP-FM, located in Newnan, GA, for over five years. Now, this Emmy Award nominated DJ is moving to Atlanta’s J-93.

Lynn is a Georgia native born and raised in the Atlanta area. She has shown true southern hospitality by reaching out to those in the community who are in need.
Most recently, when the first of three tornados cut through the heart of her broadcast area in Coweta County, Lynn and their station's news anchor remained on the radio throughout the storm. They put the word out to help those in the path of the storm seek shelter even though they were also in danger.

After the storms, Lynn was found broadcasting at a local supermarket assisting the Red Cross to raise funds for the tornado victims. She also personally coordinated a massive collection for a family of listeners who had lost nearly everything in the storm.

Heather Lynn is not only a familiar voice, but a familiar face as the spokesperson for The Explorations In Antiquity Center located in LaGrange, Ga. This past December her works hosting a documentary for the center that aired on NBC-TV awarded her an Emmy nomination.

WVFJ-FM, J-93, will be Heather Lynn's new home. Just tune in to 93.3 on your FM dial.
