Friends of Kay Whalen of Peachtree City recently gathered at Braelinn Golf Course to dedicate a dogwood tree, planted in honor of Whalen's late husband, Jim Whalen, who died November 11, 2005. Jim was an avid golfer and a well-loved ranger on the golf course for 20 years. Those attending the dedication were Joyce Jones, Rosalie Wilhelm, Shar Peters, Charlotte Miller, Donna Mattson, Deb Foster, Pat Bishop, Kay Whalen, and Diana Warren.
