The Landmark Christian Lady War Eagles varsity basketball team has won 30 games this season. If they win one more they will be state champions.

Landmark knocked off Savannah Country Day in the Class A sem-finals on Wednesday, 53-42. They will meet Hawkinsville at 11 a.m. on Saturday in Macon.
Savannah Country Day had a lead at the half but senior Christian Hunnicutt caught fire in the second half and led her team to victory. She finished with 24 points.

The Hawkinsville Lady Red Devils are 27-3. All three of their losses came to opponents outside of Class A. They have won nine games in a row and defeated Southwest Atlanta Christian 61-50 on Wednesday evening to reach the state finals.

Landmark hasn’t lost since their Dec. 29 game with Stockbridge.

The championship game will be broadcast live on Georgia Public Broadcasting.
