Duke’s men to appear at COSTue, 03/06/2007 - 7:05pm

The Duke’s Men of Yale University will be in Peachtree City on Thursday, March 15, to do a 7 p.m. concert at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. The Contemporary A Cappella Society has called them “The Best Collegiate Group in the United States,” and they placed among the six best groups in the 2005 International Competition. They have performed at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, the White House, Shea Stadium, American Airlines Arena, and on network television. Their recent tours have included Tokyo, Bangkok, Florida and California. Peachtree City is in the middle of this year’s spring tour. Their repertoire list includes: “Alexander’s Ragtime Band,” “What a Wonderful World,” “Glory Bound,” “April Come She Will,” “My Funny Valentine,” and “Instanbul (Not Constantinople).” There is no admission charge.
