B’Nai Israel to host art auction
Congregation Bnai Israel will host an art auction Saturday evening, March 10. The public is invited to enjoy a fun filled evening of art, hors d’ouevres and good times. CBI is at 1633 Ga. Hwy. 54 East in Fayetteville. For more information call 678-817-7162.

Weavers to appear at Southside Baptist
The congregation of Southside Baptist Church invites the community to join them in honoring their pastors this Sunday, March 11, at the 10:30 a.m. service. The 10-member Weaver family of Sautee will present special bluegrass southern gospel music for the event. A covered dish dinner in the fellowship hall will follow the service. Southside Baptist is on Ga. Hwy. 92 South, a mile and a half south of the Fayetteville city limits. For information, call 770-461-1275.

Trip to Atlanta History Center planned
The KeenAgers, a group of senior adults at National Heights Baptist Church, invite the community to join them Monday, March 19, as they visit the Atlanta History Center and Swan House. The tour cost is $20 Call Helen at 404-964-3485 or the church office at 770-461-1704 by March 15 to reserve a space.

PTC UMC plans Easter Festival
The Peachtree City United Methodist Church will hold its annual Easter Festival on Sunday, March 25th from 2-4 p.m. at the Windgate Road campus. The event is open to the community and includes a giant slide, bouncers, crafts, games and prizes, face painting, egg hunts, and puppet shows. Lenten lunches continue at FFUMC
The annual Lenten Lunches hosted by the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church continue each Thursday through the Lenten season. A light lunch prepared by ladies from the United Methodist Women is served at noon, followed by a guest speaker. Lunches usually last no more than an hour. The speaker for March 8 is Chris Mucha. Sandra Watson will speak March 15 and Forrest Cate will be the speaker March 22.
