For 30 years, Nature’s Landscape Services has kept Fayette County landscapes growing and looking beautiful. Now the company is doing its own growing, recently announcing the acquisition of one of the most respected lawn care businesses in the Southern Arc, Brian Arnold and Company.

Nature’s was established by owner Phil Jackson and partner in 1977 as a small family-owned garden center called Nature’s Nursery. Over the next three decades, the company grew tremendously as Jackson recognized the need for a landscape service in the community and added the service to his retail center.

Today Nature’s Landscape Services is a premier design/build landscape company offering numerous services to residential and commercial property owners, including landscape design and installation, maintenance, irrigation, landscape lighting and now lawn care.

At this company, landscape architects and designers take a personal interest in their clients, making sure each plan takes into account the individual needs and wishes of each client to make sure the design is uniquely suited. Designers take into account, the color and shape of plants, proper placement in sun or shade, soil conditions and survival of the landscape. Additionally, Nature’s Landscape Services designs walls, walkways and patios, enhancing homes artistically and structurally. Landscape lighting is just another way the company designs, adding dramatic spotlighting or a peaceful ambience to the exterior of a home.
Jackson’s goal for the company is to provide a full range of services so that clients will have to make just one call to get everything they need.

“I’m particularly proud of our maintenance services because it enables us to maintain the landscapes that we create,” Jackson says of the newest option provided by Nature’s Landscape Services. “This addition gives us the opportunity to provide the total package that is needed to maintain a beautiful landscape.”
Nature’s has been working together with Brian Arnold and Company over the past three years and following the acquisition, Brian Arnold and his staff have been retained to be a part of the team and to operate this new division of the newly expanding company, a move everyone is excited about.
“We have admired the type of quality service that Brian has offered to his customers,” Jackson says. “His attention to detail and his expertise in the lawn care industry has set Brian Arnold and Company apart from the competition since 1992.”

Arnold is a Horticulturist and a Certified Arborist and has been in the green industry for over twenty years. As a graduate of both The University of Georgia and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia, Arnold started off as a county extension agent and was able to build a strong background in pest management and lawn care.

Jackson has been working in the green industry since he was 16 years old. He decided he wanted to create his own business from the ground up, and continues to lead the family owned and operated Nature’s Landscape Services with his wife Diane and their two sons, Phil Jr. and Adam.

“I like what I do,” he says. “Every day is an adventure.”
