Oh Do Kwan TaeKwonDo recently had 17 students win medals at the 2007 Regional Championship at Lilburn, Ga.

There were 13 gold medalists and four silver medalists. Gold medalists were Maximos Spears, Brandon Bonilla, Noah Smith-Lloyd, Edgar Maldonado, Asia Smith-Lloyd, Christian Richter, Rashard Brown, Mary Beth King, Jasmine Leavell, Christa Jones, Daniel Smith, Roland Thames and Roland Thames, III. Silver medalists were Makesha Yarbrough, Brady Smith, Amad Ragland and Jada Anderson.

This was the first meet of the year for these athletes and master Joaquin Bonilla stated that now that they have had a taste of success at this level, a lot of the newer students have become more dedicted. The wins qualified them for the national tournament in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. this July. Oh Do Kwan will travel to several tournaments before then and welcome any challenge.
