Fayette Players and Community Theatre will present Margaret Edson’s Pulitzer Prize winning play “W;t,” March 2-3 and 8-11. Show times are at 8 p.m. with a special 2:30 p.m. matinee on Sunday, March 11. The performance on March 3 will be a benefit for performance for the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance. Tickets for that performance will be $20 and will include refreshments and a speaking engagement with Edson after the show. Tickets for all other performances are $10.

“W;t” tells the story of a university professor of English who is dying of ovarian cancer. As she copes with her life-threatening cancer she assesses her own life through the intricacies of the English language, especially the use of wit and the metaphysical poetry of John Donne.

Complimentary refreshments will be provided to the audience on March 8, 9, 10 and 11 courtesy of Harry Norman Realtors, Peachtree City.

Tickets may be purchased by calling 404-822-9050 or visiting www.brownpapertickets.com/event/10156. Online purchases can be charged to all major credit cards.
