McIntosh’s boys and girls tennis teams defeated Whitewater’s teams 5-0.

Singles winners for the girls were Chelsea Utting, Stephanie Halpern and Lauren Knapp, while the doubles teams of Lyndsi Tufte and Kelsey Paone, and Courtney Rollings and Rachel Adlington also won their matches. The boys also had impressive play led by singles players William Truex, Matthew Thompson and Michael Lacour and the doubles teams of Alex Parton and Kent Dunson, and Kyle Koonce and Mike Wehde.

The Peachtree City Invitational will take place at the Peachtree City Tennis Center today and tomorrow. Action starts this afternoon and will resume Saturday morning. The finals will likely start around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
