Lady Chiefs' lacrosse season starts with lossFri, 03/02/2007 - 9:48am

McIntosh’s Lady Chiefs lacrosse team lost to Woodward Academy 15-8 earlier this week. Juniors Taylor Lugash and Kelly Polo had three goals each and senior Britt LaPalm added two goals. LaPalm also had three assists, while Rachel Weissman, Kristen Lein and Cailyn Worley each added one assist. Goalkeeper Lauren Schindler had 20 saves in the loss. The Lady Chiefs (0-1) will host Etowah tonight at 5:30 p.m. and will play at Woodstock at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The McIntosh boys will open the season at Etowah on Saturday at noon. They will play at Alpharetta at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. Starr’s Mill’s boys and girls are scheduled to play at Northview today. They will host Columbus on Tuesday at 4:55 and 6:30 p.m. login to post comments |
