Nikki Jean Turner, 65, Riverdale, Fayette County, died Feb. 16. 2007. She was born April 12, 1941 in Haywood County, N.C. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frieda Ann Ross. Services were at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, Blue Ridge, Ga. with the Rev. Dr. Ike Reighard officiating. Interment was at New Hope Flint Hill Cemetery, Morganton, Ga. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Turner, Fayetteville; sons Dennis Turner, Morganton, and Keith and Diane Turner, Mineral Bluff; a daughter, Donna and Chuck Tumlin, Rome; and grandchildren, Justin and Amanda Turner, and Emily, Travis, and Tucker Tumlin. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
