Over 26 beauties took the stage Feb. 8-10 in an effort to be named Miss Starr’s Mill at the sixth annual pageant. In the end it was Mallori Carter who took the title and the crown. Contestants are awarded points based on a personal interview, talent, evening wear, and casual wear. The event is sponsored by the Starr’s Mill High School drama department and funds raised are used to finance the department’s plays and musicals.
