Van Bogan and Mrs. Lisa Durden Bogan of Fayetteville announce the engagement of her daughter, Christy Denise Durden to Christopher Randall Jordan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Jordan of Sea Island. Miss Durden also is the daughter of the late Charles Durden Jr. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil McAdams of Griffin, Ms. Doris Durden of Jonesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Durden of Garland, Texas. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing, summa cum laude, from the Medical College of Georgia and a juris doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law. She currently is employed as a health care attorney at Epstein, Becker and Green in Atlanta. The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Athley R. Jordan and the late Athley R. Jordan of Brunswick, and Mrs. William O. Inman and the late Dr. William O. Inman, also of Brunswick. He received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Duke University and a juris doctorate from Vanderbilt University School of Law. He currently is employed at The Jordan Firm in St. Simons Island. The wedding will be Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Rock Spring Presbyterian Church in Atlanta. A reception will follow at Capital City Club. Following a honeymoon to the islands of Bora Bora and Moorea in French Polynesia, the couple will reside in St. Simons Island. login to post comments |
