It’s no surprise that back and neck pain is a growing problem in the United States and will continue to be as the population continues to age. Stress, poor posture, long commutes and poorly designed office chairs only contribute to the ailments people are faced with everyday. One store in Peachtree City, Relax the Back, is fighting back by offering a full range of back and neck care products designed to ease the suffering of the many people whose quality of life has been affected by chronic pain. Customers at Relax the Back will find over 300 unique products to aid in the relief and prevention of back pain, from ergonomic chairs and neck supports to exercise items and innovative backpacks for children. Owners Mark and Tara Briggs are excited to be able to offer such a variety of products to their customers. “Relax the Back is the only specialty retailer in Atlanta whose products all meet a mission of providing solutions for back and neck pain relief and prevention. We have the most comprehensive variety of products under one roof,” Mark says. Relax the Back is designed to allow clients to try out the various products offered and experience first-hand the benefits of each. One of the highlights is the Zero Gravity recliners that “put you in the most comfortable position for sitting and relaxing your neck and back, particularly your lower back, which is the source of a majority of back pain,” Mark explains. Zero Gravity recliners put you in the same stress free position that astronauts are in at take-off. The chairs come cushioned with inflatable lumbar support and can be upgraded with pressure relieving memory foam and can recline at the touch of a button. When fully reclined, Zero Gravity chairs counteract fatigue, muscle tension and spinal pressure as well as improve circulation. Customers are already discovering the lasting benefits these chairs can make. “A gentleman with serious back and circulation problems was having difficulty sleeping in bed or in any of his existing chairs,” Mark relates. “After he purchased a Zero Gravity chair, we followed up three days later and he told us he had gotten more sleep in the new chair in the past three days than he had gotten the previous month.” Relax the Back appeals to a wide variety of consumers, from school kids carrying heavy backpacks to and from class to office employees working at improperly configured desks and chairs. Personalized customer service is also a hallmark of the company, which requires associates to attend training programs about posture, ergonomics and self-care. These knowledgeable associates can then educate customers on the best products to meet their individual needs. “We are proud to offer our customers the finest products and most individualized service possible,” Mark says. “We look forward to being a vital member of the local business community, as well as improving the health and wellness of the clients we serve.” Relax the Back is located at 2705 Hwy 54, Suite 1, in Peachtree City in front of Best Buy. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday noon to 4 p.m. For more information, call 770-631-9155 or visit www.relaxtheback.com. login to post comments |
