Sandy Creek's Lady Patriots defeated the North Hall Lady Trojans 53-22 in the first round of the AAA state basketball playoffs on Friday night. Lynsey Paschal had a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds.

Landmark's Lady War Eagles hosted a first round game in the Class A playoffs and won 52-26. Christian Hunnicutt scored 17 points and Tiffany Hall added 12.

Starr's Mill's Lady Panthers were on the road on Friday, taking on the Greenbrier Lady Wolfpack. They lost 65-30.
