Louis F. Graves, 90, Fayetteville, died Feb. 16, 2007. He was born June 29, 1916 in Fayette County, son of Wiley and Minnie Williamson Graves, and was lifelong resident of Fayetteville. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army in France, England, and Germany. Services were at the Overton Chapel, First Baptist Church of Fayetteville, with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Smith Graves, Fayetteville; sons, Steve and Elaine Graves, Rockhill, S.C., Sam and Karen Graves, Fayetteville, and Leonard and Cathy Couch, Riverdale; a daughter, Elizabeth and Dr. Dennis Fledderjohann, Highland, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and brother, Henry Graves, Cartersville. Memorial donations may be made to The Pan American Testament League, 1147 Briarcliff Rd., NE, Atlanta, GA 30306. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
