Mr. and Mrs. Michael Powell announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Lynn Powell to Nicholas Todd Haney, son of Mr. Ernest Haney.

The bride-to-be is currently employed by Ahart & Associates, CPA firm in Fayetteville.
The wedding is planned for March 2007.
