A red ribbon (center, top) hangs for protection over a crop of pot in one of the nearly two dozen marijuana “grow houses” in 12 counties around metro Atlanta raided recently by Fayette Sheriff’s Drug Suppression Task Force. The ribbon is from the Cuban Santeria voodoo religion, intended to protect both the grower and the crop from harm.
