One of Peachtree City’s most successful companies has once again been acquired by an even bigger corporation.

Stamford, Ct.-based Cenveo, Inc. announced that it acquired Printegra Corporation. In a press release, the company said the acquisition also includes Printegra divisions: National Imprint Corporation and Synergy Label.

Cenveo, Inc. is a $1.6 billion company, and is one of North America’s leading providers of print and visual communications products.
“With the acquisition of Printegra Corporation, Cenveo will be able to offer its existing base of customers access to one of the industry’s premier manufacturers of short-run forms, labels, and envelope products.

At the same time, current customers of Printegra will be able to gain access to Cenveo’s broad offering of core products and services.
“Printegra has two divisions, National Imprint and Synergy Label, with 14 manufacturing facilities across the country. The company, which specializes in short-run printing, posts annual sales of roughly $90 million. It produces labels, business forms, envelopes and security documents, among other products,” said the press release.

“This strategic acquisition immediately establishes Cenveo as the leader in the growing market for short run and highly customized printed products,” Bob Burton, Cenveo chairman and CEO, said in a release. “The combination of these market leaders is a powerful opportunity to solidify our position as the leading competitor in the custom envelope print market.”
The company was originally founded by former Peachtree City Mayor Bob Lenox as Continuous Forms and Checks in the early 80s. The successor company still has a plant in the city’s industrial park.
