Primrose celebrates one year anniversaryThu, 02/15/2007 - 10:47am

Primrose School at Summit East, located at 160 Hwy. 92 South, celebrated their one year anniversary on Saturday, Jan. 20. Franchisee owner Jerry Gross delivered an inspirational dedication address and Fayetteville Mayor Ken Steele spoke on partnering with private schools to improve educational delivery. Sheila Studdard, Fayette County Superior Court Clerk and PTA president, spoke about her Primrose experience and Clarice Howard with the Fayette County Board of Education spoke about the importance of Primrose being a part of the Fayetteville community. Police Chief Steve Heaton and Fire Chief Jack Krakeel along with several police officers and firemen joined in the festivities. The Reverend Benny Momoh, of Overcomers Christian Fellowship in Stone Mountain, blessed the school while entertainment was provided by franchisee owner Cheryl Gross and the OCF Praise Team as well as the up and coming dance group, Forever Blessed. Bob Benowitz, Executive VP of Primrose Schools Franchising Company, was also on hand to wish the school continued success. Mia Coward was chosen Teacher of the Year. The school ended the celebration with school tours and activities for the children. login to post comments |
