A College Park girl reported that she was robbed of her cell phone while at the Tinseltown movie theater in Fayetteville late Sunday night, police said.

The 14-year-old victim said a black male took the cell phone off of her belt, police said. She could not provide any more details about the description of the suspect, police said.

The victim did not report the robbery immediately despite the presence of an off-duty Fayetteville police officer at the theater, police said. The crime was reported after the victim’s mother took her to the police station Monday, police said.
