Each year, J93.3 partners with local businesses to gather thousands of Valentine's cards and candy for children who are less fortunate in an effort to demonstrate "...that someone loves them and is thinking about them. "

One of the organizations who will enjoy these special Valentines as well as a party on their campus compliments of J93.3, is Christian City.

"This was a tradition started six years ago when J93.3 came to Christian City with this wonderful idea of supporting our children on Valentines Day as a way to make them feel special. The children look forward to this party year after year with great anticipation. We are very grateful to J93.3 for all they do for the children who live at Christian City and hope they will continue this tradition for many years to come" , said Phil Kouns, vice president of Children's Services at Christian City.

School groups, church groups, civic organizations and individuals have been dropping their handmade Valentines in collection boxes around the community. Participating drop off locations included The Queen's Jewels in Tyrone, Pak Mail and Good Sports in Peachtree City, Crumpton's Furniture, Aunt Laura's Sweet Shoppe And Tea Room of Fayetteville and three area Truett's Grills.
