The Harmony Harmoneers, a gospel quintet, will perform in concert at The Branches United Methodist Church in Fayetteville Saturday, Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. Members of the group include Willie Turner, Calvin Turner, Andrew Turner, Melvin Turner and C.W. Langston.

“The Harmony Harmoneers have dazzled audiences for over 25 years with their innovative and revolutionary gospel music,” a spokesperson said. “The distinguished quintet-singing group has a unique style of accapella singing and has successfully recorded several CDs. Most recently in 2006, the Harmony Harmoneers performed as the opening act for the acclaimed R&B artist Gladys Knight at the Montreux Jazz Festival.”

The concert is a part of The Branches celebration of Black History Month and is free to the public. The church is at 847 New Hope Road (Building B of the North Fayette United Methodist Church).
