Mr. and Mrs. James Frank Murchison, Jr. of LaGrange, formerly of Fayetteville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Irene Murchison, to Darren Mitchell McPhail, son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Mitchell McPhail of Elizabethtown, N.C. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Frank Murchison Sr. of Vidalia. and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Means Mitchell of Fayetteville. She is a graduate of The University of Georgia’s Henry Grady School of Journalism where she earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast news with a minor in sociology. Currently, she is the director of public relations for Albany Technical College in Albany. The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Wellington Autry of Autryville, N.C. and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mitchell McPhail of Harrells, N.C. He is a graduate of The University of North Carolina with a bachelor of arts in communications. He is the general manager of the South Georgia Wildcats in Albany. The couple will be married at 6:30 p.m. on April 28, 2007, at Porterfield United Methodist Church in Albany. Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Leesburg. login to post comments |
