Marie Smith Ferrell, 91, Union City, died Jan. 28, 2007. She was preceded in death by a son, Fred Skinner, brothers, Julian Smith, and Sanford Smith, and a sister, Martha Alley. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with Minister Thom Miller officiating. Interment was at Forest Hills Memorial Park, College Park. Survivors include brothers, Billy Smith and Bobby Smith, both of Fayetteville; sisters, Frances Peacock and Virginia Montgomery, both of Fayetteville, and Beatrice and Lee Milliken, Duluth. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
