Henrietta Redwine Dennis, 87, Fayetteville, died Jan. 24, 2007. She was born July 30, 1919 in Fayette County, daughter of Charles Davenport and Clifford Burks Redwine. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Dennis, whom she married Oct. 18, 1941, and sisters, Elizabeth Redwine Ramsey, and Josephine Redwine Carmichael. She was graduated from Fayette County High School as valedictorian in 1936, and in 1941 was graduated from Randolph Macon College for Women in Lynchburg, Va. Services were at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Parrish and the Rev. Mark Westmoreland officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include daughters, Deborah and Jim Smith, and Bess Cheney, all of Fayetteville, and Jane and John Crowe, Brooks; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jane Dickerson, Fayetteville. Memorial donations may be made to the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
