The Infinity Elite Titans Junior Coed Advanced team led by Coach Myke Johnson won a National Championship title at the JamFest Cheer Super Nationals Competition in Indianapolis, Indiana.
In addition to their title win, they were awarded a bid to attend the prestigious USASF Cheerleading World’s Competition in Orlando, Fla., Apr. 21-22 where they will compete against teams from the United States, China, Australia and Scotland.

The JamFest Cheer Super Nationals is the second largest cheerleading competition in the United States and draws approximately 450 teams and 30,000 cheerleaders from all over the country.
“We were in the company of some of the most elite cheerleading programs in the country,” said Coach Myke Johnson. “Being a small program, we achieved the remarkable coming in under the radar and walking away with the national title.”

The team also overcame the adversity of illness and injury that plagued the squad upon their arrival to Indianapolis.

“Their performance was a testament to our cheerleaders and their families,” said Infinity Elite owner Vivian Autry. “Their response to the challenging circumstances reflected their unwavering support of each other.”

Johnson agreed adding, “we have had our bumps in the road and had to remain focused and on task. We couldn’t allow ourselves to be derailed. I believe in these kids and saw something in them that they didn’t see in themselves. I had to make them believers and now they are. This is the beginning of our excellence.”
