Wrestlers from the Fayette Thrasher Wrestling Program flew to Nebraska to compete in the 8th Annual Omaha Metro Classic January 14, 2007.
Amidst a snow storm that had occurred the boys still took Omaha by storm.

Both boys represented the Fayette community wrestling program with great honor among outstanding competition in Nebraska. Wyatt Schmidt took first place in the 5-6 grade 80lb bracket. Van Schmidt took 2nd place in the 2-3 grade 50lb bracket.

Both Wyatt and Van scored two pins in the process.
