First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City is offering a new series of adult education opportunities on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday with classes available for newcomers, singles, honeymooners, men, ladies and mature friends.

Also available is a special focus group for parents interested in learning more about teaching kids to take responsibility for their own behavior.

Classes also are held on Sunday from 10:15 to 11 a.m. between the contemporary and traditional services.

A variety of topics is covered each week, including the Table Talk class held in Smith Fellowship Hall. This class encourages participants to join in a casual roundtable discussion of current events viewed from a Biblical perspective while enjoying coffee with friends.

Additional classes are offered Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, including a Mom’s Group (with childcare provided), discipleship group studies, and two new formats in fellowship providing enrichment for parents with “Boundaries for Kids” and “Way of the Wild Heart.” These classes are held each Wednesday evening at 6:30 and 7:40 p.m.

The first class discusses Biblically based principles to help parents apply boundaries, teach values, explain behaviors, and get out of the “nagging trap.”

The later class covers the values of spiritual awakening for men as fathers raising boys in today’s world.
