Wilma Louise Davenport Carson, 74, Peachtree City, died Jan. 19, 2007. She was born May 25, 1932 in Blue Diamond, Ky. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Green. Services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley chapel with Jerald Reid and Stacey Wilkerson officiating. Interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Griffin. Survivors include children, Louise Lawson, Gainesville, Debbie Pope, Newnan, Ted Davenport and Tony Davenport, both of Peachtree City, and Cliff Davenport, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and sisters, Lynda Wilkerson, Douglasville, Patricia Lyons, McDonough, Janet Wilkerson, Fayetteville, and Shelia Mitchell, Molena. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home was in charge.
