Sara Steed, 83, Palmetto, died Jan. 12, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Steed. Graveside services were at Floral Hill Cemetery, Palmetto, with the Rev. Sollie Hicks officiating. Survivors include daughters, Margaret and Gene Rainwater, Woodland, Ala, Elizabeth Steed, Palmetto; a brother, Walla McDaniel Jr., Tyrone; and grandchildren, Kyle Rohrbaugh, and Evin Rohrbaugh. Memorial donations may be made to Palmetto United Methodist Church, 508 Church Street, Palmetto, Ga. 30268. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
