Alfonso Lopez and Michelle Tabor will perform a violin and piano concert on Sunday, Jan. 21 at Fayette Presbyterian Church on Ga. Hwy. 92 North in Fayetteville. The event is part of the 2006 - 2007 Concert Series hosted by the church.

Alfonso Lopez, violinist, is currently concertmaster of The Venezuela Symphony Orchestra and professor of violin at The Emil Friedman School.

Michelle Tabor, pianist, has performed with Alfonso Lopez in the United States and Venezuela since 2004.

The concert begins at 3 p.m. Sunday in the church sanctuary. A “Meet the Musicians” reception will follow in the fellowship hall.

The Lopez-Tabor concert is the third in the 2006 - 2007 Concert Series at Fayette Presbyterian Church. Remaining performances in the series include The Simpsonwood 8:45 Band on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. and Reggie Dancil on Sunday, April 15 at 3 p.m.

Tickets for individual concerts are $10 each. Tickets for all three remaining events may be purchased for only $25. Student admission for each concert is $5.
