Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Philpot of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Beth Philpot, to Benjamin Powelson Donham, son of Ms. Nancy Donham of Lake City, Fla. and Dr. Donald Donham of Oakland, Calif.

The bride-to-be is a 1996 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens, where she received her bachelor of science in psychology and biology. In 2006 she received her Ph.D. in pharmacology/neuroscience from Emory University and is presently employed by Kendle in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The groom-elect received his bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Emory University in 2000 and his M.D. from the Emory School of Medicine in 2004. He is presently an emergency room department resident at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio.

A spring 2007 wedding is planned.
