The Piedmont Physicians Group recently added internist, Charlotte Grayson, M.D., to the team at Fayette Medical Clinic, and pediatrician Lisa McMath, M.D, to the team at Shakerag Hill.

“Drs. Grayson and McMath are experienced physicians in their respective fields, and will provide outstanding services and care to our patients,” said Jack Reed, CEO, Piedmont Medical Care Corporation. "We're extremely pleased they're joining our teams in Fayetteville and Peachtree City."

Grayson earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Prior to joining the Piedmont Physicians at Fayette Medical Clinic, Grayson has worked at many Piedmont Physicians Group offices on an interim basis for the past several months and recently decided to take a permanent position at the Piedmont Physicians at Fayette Medical Clinic. She is state board eligible in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians.

Grayson has lent her medical expertise to many consumer-focused medical guides including WebMD, Women’s Health, TIME magazine, Glaxo SmithKline, Medtronics, CNN, Fox5 Atlanta, the American Heart Association and Black Enterprise Magazine.

McMath, who will practice at Shakerag Hill, earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and completed her internship and residency at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Upon completion of her residency, McMath joined the Hurley Child and Adult Medicine in Grand Blanc, Michigan. She then worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center at the University of Tennessee at Memphis, and later treated patients at the Whole Child Pediatrics in Florence, Kentucky. Prior to joining the Piedmont Physicians at Shakerag Hill, McMath worked at the Children’s Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.

Both Grayson and McMath are accepting new patients and welcome most major insurance plans.
