Allen Tingwald, 58,, Fayetteville, died Jan. 12, 2007. He was born Feb. 9, 1948 in King County, Iowa. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam in the 101st. Airborne 502, received a purple heart and a bronze star V for valor. He retired with 35 years of service. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Father Jimmy Adams as celebrant. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Cheryl A. Tingwald, Fayetteville; a daughter, Kristy A. and Pete L. Donohue, Hampton; grandchildren, Dylan, Luke, and baby boy to be; and a brother, Keith Ridnour, Hermosa Beach, Calif.
