Virginia V. Snowden, 82, Tyrone, died Jan. 12, 2007. She was born Sept. 10, 1924 in Adair County, Iowa. She was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Cleo Faye James, a brother, Raymond E. James, a sister, Bernice Ehlers, and great-granddaughter, Molly R. Gilreath. Graveside services were at Westminster Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Greg Plott officiating. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Donald E. Snowden; children, Mickey R. Knickerbocker, Connie F. and Don Clay, and Douglas E. and Ginger Snowden; grandchildren, James W. and Erica Gilreath, Matthew B. and Lori Gilreath, Jody A. and David Thomas, and Chad C. E. and Fawn Snowden; and great-grandchildren, Tyler J. Gilreath, Madison R. Gilreath, Hailey K. Gilreath, Chase . K. Gilreath, and Franki S. Gilreath. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
