Donald E ."Donnie" Harris, 69, Fayetteville, died Jan. 10, 2007. He was born Oct. 18, 1937 in Bangor, Maine. He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Carley Lee and Nina Harris, siblings, James Carley Harris, Howard Harris, Ruth Moody, Nina Harris, Geraldine Reece, and Carley Lee Harris. Services were at the South Metro Ministries Church of God Congregation, Sharpsburg, with the Rev. Alan Mathura, and the Rev. Dr. Ken Peek officiating. Interment was at East View Cemetery, Rome, Ga. Survivors include a brother, Vernon and Ruby Harris, Tucson, Ariz.; and sisters, Mildred and H. Langford, Rome, and Joyce and Nathan Kay, Fayetteville. Memorial donations may be made to the Alan Mathura Scholarship Fund, 3935 Hwy. 34 East, Sharpsburg, G 30277. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
