Ruth E. Mills, 72, Fayetteville, died Jan. 8, 2007. She was born June 21, 1934 in Columbus, Ga., daughter of the late Lonzie Cary and Annie Cornelia King Edge. She moved to Atlanta from Columbus in 1967. Services were at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home chapel with Chaplain Gary Lewis officiating. Survivors include her husband, Joseph W. Mills; children, Cathy Ratelle, Conyers, Sherion and Bruce Goodson, Fayetteville; Joseph "Joel" Mills, Grayson, and Lynn and Ben Williams, Peachtree City; eight grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and one great-grandson due in April.
