Annie Marion Pummell, 80, Fayetteville, died Dec. 31, 2006. She was born June 2, 1926 in London, England. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold James Pummell. She was half of the banjo duet known as "The Two Macks" in London. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with interment at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville. Survivors include sons, Robert Pummell and his partner, Jeffrey Murray, Chicago, and John and Linda Pummell, Alexandria, Va.; daughters, Katherine Anne Pummell, Peachtree City, and Sue Serpone, Palm Bay, Fla.; grandchildren, Nicole Anne, Jonathan Preston, Christopher, Chris, and Joy; and four great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
