Fans of the HGTV program “House Hunters” may recognize the area in an upcoming episode of the television show, because local realtor Terry Marlowe showed former Georgia Bulldog and New England Patriot Hason Graham and his wife, Kenya, homes in the same school district they resided in in Fayetteville. They will appear in the episode “Family Needs Larger Digs,” which airs this week.

“House Hunters” takes viewers behind the scenes as people learn what to look for and decide whether or not a home is for them. Kenya contacted the show as they began their search for a larger home. The Grahams lived in a three bedroom home with their two sons, Riko and Aaron, and were looking for a move-in ready house with an open layout, roomy garage and large yard in the same school district that they were living in. “House Hunters” contacted Marlowe and she took the Grahams to several houses in the county. Eventually, the family found a home they liked that fit their specifications and “House Hunters” came back three months later to do more filming to see what the Grahams had done to the house.

Marlowe, who was with Prudential Georgia Realty at the time, currently works for Keller Williams. She had a blast doing the show and has been asked to do another episode of the program. She will be choosing the family this time and at the time of the interview had yet to decide on one.

“It was an exciting process filming the show,’ said Marlowe. “I was smiling the whole time.”
While filming the episode, the crew also filmed a lot around Peachtree City, showing off the lakes and the golf cart paths and giving the viewers a good idea what Peachtree City is all about.

Marlowe and her husband, Ben, owned and operated the Peachy Kleen Car Wash in Peachtree City. Marlowe, a Brooks resident, states that the car wash has helped her get to know the community better in the three years she has lived in Fayette County.

The car wash recently closed, but Marlowe made an incredible number of friendships and contacts through the two businesses and that has given her a sense of the personality of the county, which helps her in selling it to prospective buyers.

The episode of House Hunters will air on HGTV Jan. 11 at 10 p.m., Jan. 12 at 2 a.m. and Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m.
