A day to remember

Hundreds of children and their parents are expected to attend this year’s Martin Luther King Jr. parade in downtown Fayetteville Saturday. Last year, one of the more creative floats was one depicting the Montgomery bus that became a symbol of the civil rights movement after Rosa Parks refused to cede her seat on the public bus.
