The second annual Fayette Family YMCA Festival of the Arts will take place at the Fayette Family YMCA off of Huiet Road in Fayetteville, Saturday and Sunday, Apr. 28 and 29.

Last year’s event was very successful, combing fine art exhibits with performances from local performing artists and groups. Plans for this year’s festival are underway and festival organizers are hoping for an even bigger and better festival this year, but they need your help.

There is still a need for volunteers in a number of different capacities and there are also sponsorship opportunities available. The festival is also still accepting artists, craftsmen and visual artists for a juried show, non-profit civic entertainment organizations and individual musical performers (instrument or vocal) and they would also like to find Spoleto type street entertainers (jugglers, musicians, clowns, mimes, etc.)
