The Men’s Outdoor Ministry at Orchard Hills Baptist Church in Newnan invites men of all ages to attend the Wild Game Dinner Saturday, Jan. 20, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the church.

The event will feature a wide variety of wild game for everyone to enjoy, as well as musical entertainment and guest speaker Mark Conklin.

Various sportsman-related door prizes will be awarded, including $1000 Bass Pro Shops vouchers for firearms.

Tickets for the event are $10 and can be purchased at the door or through the church office.

“Twice Robin,” a duo from Tennessee, will be the musical guests for the event. The two held the #1 slot in National Country Gospel-Christian Country and Bluegrass Gospel Chart for the month of August 2005. They have been on stage with Earl Thomas Connelly and Lori Morgan, and have been on the road with the Son Country Outdoors team.

Mark Conklin, a Chick-fil-A manager of training and development who lives in Atlanta, will be the guest speaker. Conklin is a storyteller whose presentations are filled with hunting and fishing stories about real life experiences. Each story is designed to entertain, challenge, and inspire the audience and when woven together into his life story, bring the listener to a “moment of truth.”

Conklin has spoken on leadership topics for corporate, government, church and nonprofit organizations. Additionally, he has spoken to outdoor audiences nationwide on behalf of Mossy Oak Ministries, Christian Sportsman’s Fellowship, the Catch-A Dream Foundation, Legends Ranch and Spiritual Outdoor Adventures.

Orchard Hills Baptist Church is at 171 Gordon Rd. in Newnan.
