Sweetheart of a Deal Available for Valentine’s Day

Georgia (January 5, 2007) – If love is in the air this Valentine’s Day, there is no better place to catch some of it than in the great outdoors. With Georgia State Park Lodges’ “Sweetheart of a Deal,” couples are invited to escape to nature for a weekend getaway to celebrate this romantic holiday.

This two-night special package, available February 9 –11 and February 16 – 18, includes accommodations, breakfast for two each day and a Sweetheart Basket complete with a bottle of wine or champagne, two wine or champagne flutes and a delectable box of chocolates.

Guests can enjoy “Sweetheart of a Deal” rates of $99 for the first night and $69 for the second night at Red Top Mountain and Amicalola Falls State Park Lodges; and $89 for the first night and $59 for the second night at George T. Bagby and Little Ocmulgee State Park Lodges. Rates do not include taxes, gratuities or the $3.00 per vehicle Georgia Park Pass. Accommodations are subject to availability with advanced reservations required. The package rate does not apply to groups or existing reservations.

Georgia State Parks Lodges invite lovebirds to enjoy the serene settings that only nature can provide at one of these four distinctive properties located throughout the state.
