William F. Ogletree, 71, Fayetteville, died Dec. 25, 2006. He was born Jan. 18, 1935 in Spalding County, son of the late Phil and Evelyn Ogletree. He was a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University. He served in the United States Navy and retired from Delta Air Lines in 1994 with almost 35 years of service. At Delta he worked in the Aircraft Maintenance, Aircraft Overhaul, Inspection Department, Engineering Department, and Non-Destructive Testing. A memorial service was at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Westmoreland officiating. Survivors include his wife, Ruth S. Ogletree, Fayetteville; daughters, Caroline and Patrick Mrizek, Senoia, Susanne and Wesley Price, Kansas City, Mo., Kathy and Scott Awbrey, Newnan, and Leslie and Adam Houston, Cumming; grandchildren, Matthew Mrizek, Michael Mrizek, James Price, John Price, Joshua Price, Kyle Awbrey, Daniel Awbrey, Andrew Awbrey, Nathan Awbrey and Evelyn Grace Houston; and a brother, Phil Ogletree Jr., Griffin. Memorial donations may be made to the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Jones Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
