Reem Faruqi of Peachtree City earned a Dana Scholars award at the annual Opening Convocation of Agnes Scott College recently. Dana Scholars have been selected primarily on the basis of academic achievement and demonstrated leadership in college activities. Faruqi is a member of the class of 2006 at Agnes Scott, an independent national liberal art and sciences college for women founded in 1889. Faruqi is a graduate of McIntosh High School and is the daughter of Zaibunissa and Zaheer Faruqi.
