Pam Terrell to speak at Aglow in Peachtree CityTue, 01/02/2007 - 4:53pm

Peachtree City Aglow, an international, interdenominational women’s ministry, will feature Pam Terrell as guest speaker at the Monday, Jan. 8 meeting, set for 6:45 p.m. at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City. Terrell will speak on “Becoming Spiritual Warriors for our Children” based on her experiences with her 14-year-old son’s alcohol and drug addiction. “Pam cried and questioned God as her son began a journey down a dark path of drugs and alcohol,” a spokesperson said. “Being a devoted and loving single mom of two boys, Pam was not prepared to face one of a mother’s worst nightmares. It was through dealing with her son’s ‘crack’ addiction that God revealed that she, herself, would have to confront her own ‘demons’ before she could ever help her son. As her life was being restored, she learned how to become the spiritual warrior that her child needed.” No nursery will be available. For more information, call Marianne, 770-632-5939 or e-mail ptcaglow@yahoo.com. Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran is at 101 N. Peachtree Parkway, on the corner of Peachtree Parkway and Ga. Hwy. 54. login to post comments |
