Trudie Bell Blocker, 88, Peachtree City, died Dec. 18, 2006. She was born April 28, 1918 in Opp, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward E. Blocker, and a daughter, Cynthia Nanette Blocker. Services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Fred Boyett officiating. Interment was at Sharon Memorial Park, Tyrone. Survivors include children, Shirley J. and Gordon Miller, and Genetha E. Wyatt, all of Fayetteville, Boyett E. and Mary Blocker, and William B. and Lynda Blocker, all of Senoia, and Mary J. and Shayne Busby, Ellenwood; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Research Center, Regions Foundation, 640 Jackson St., St. Paul, MN 55101.
