Mary Ann Brogdon Black, 59, Newnan, died Dec. 18, 2006. She was born June 6, 1947 in Fulton County. She was preceded in death by her father, J. C. Brogdon. She was a member of Christ The King Charismatic Episcopal Church, Sharpsburg. Services were at Christ The King Charismatic Episcopal Church with interment at Level Creek United Methodist Church cemetery, Suwannee, Ga. Survivors include her husband, H. Grady Black, Newnan; mother, Gladys Ann Simpson Brogdon, Monroe, Ga.; sons, Mike and Danielle Dixon, Sharpsburg, Robbie and Kim Dixon, Leesburg, Ga., and Gregg Dixon, Brooks; brothers, Darrell Brogdon, Tyrone, and Jimmy and Debbie Brogdon, Peachtree City; and grandchildren, Ashley, Mitchell, Miranda, Rusty, and Robbie. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
