Hazel Florence Davenport, 97, McDonough, formerly of Fayetteville, died Dec. 7, 2006. She was born June 26, 1909 in Fayette County, daughter of Rufus andArrie Butler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Howell Davenport. She was a member of Living Word on the Move Church. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Larry Moss officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include a son, Bruce and Karen Davenport, Jonesboro; grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Davenport Jr., Lanette Davenport, and Mr. and Mrs. David Davenport; great-grandsons, David and Andy Phillips; six great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one brother; and six sisters. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
